"kcms"
“kcms” Content Management System.
kcms is a multifunctional CMS (Content Management System). It is not an all-purpose system, but can be customized for each project, which makes it easy to use.
Why kcms? Using kcms you will not need a specialist every time you wish to change the information on your website.
Basic functions:
- Creation, editing and deleting of website pages.
- Creation, editing and deleting of products.
- Viewing statistics of visits.
- Creation, editing and deleting of news, special offers etc.
- Creation, editing and deleting of user accounts, for example, to enable the users with different access levels to see different information on the website.
- Creation of backup copies of the database.
- In most cases export to and import from a file, created in applications like Microsoft Excel or OpenOffice Calc, are available.
Text Editor
Our CMS allows to edit texts in both Plain Text and WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) mode. WYSIWYG allows editing text with formatting with the use of RTFE text editor.
RTFE Basic Functions:
- Text formatting (Bold, italic, underline, superscript и subscript, bigger and smaller font size, changing of color and highlight)
- Text alignment (left, right, center and justify)
- Inserting hyperlinks and anchors (reference to a certain place on a page), as well as hyperlinks, which open in their own window (Popup)
- Inserting images into the text and uploading them to the server
- Uploading files to the server and inserting hyperlinks allowing to download them.
- Uploading Flash-presentations to the server and inserting them into the text
- Creation of tables
- Changing size of a table/cell
- Changing highlight color of a table/cell
- Inserting a background image to a table/cell
- Changing table/cell borders

- Inserting symbols
- Creation of numbered and unnumbered lists

Our CMS is based on two technologies: regular (Web 1.0) and AJAX (Web 2.0).
Major differences between these two approaches:
- Frequent webpage refreshes are common for Web 1.0.
- In Web 2.0 refreshes are rather an exception than a rule. This version requires more resources, but it works much faster on slow connections, thus saving your time spent on waiting for the page to load.
